degrees, college diplomas, certificates of apprenticeship
and all regulated licensing.
Why is credential verification necessary?
Find out if your applicant has the qualifications and training
necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position. Credential
verification will also provide insight into your applicant's
character, in particular their honesty and trustworthyness.
Example:

employer with a fraudulent university diploma, and in fact
was not qualified for the posted teaching position.
