Financial Position

What is a financial position search?
A financial position search will determine the applicant's historical financial status and identify registered accounts, external collections, and expose bankruptcy, Judgments, or alternate legal proceedings against the applicant.

Why is this search important?
This is an important facet of pre-employment screening if the applicant will be employed in a position of trust or financial responsibility. It also alludes to an applicant's character.

Example:
Investigation revealed an applicant was a severe financial risk, in addition to being the proprietor of a small business in direct competition with the company to which he was applying.
